The Pullman Police Department is located in downtown Pullman behind City Hall.
The Pullman Police Department is responsible for policing within the city of Pullman boundaries, with the exception of Washington State University property. Washington State University maintains a separate police department.
The Pullman Police Department provides all police services, including crime prevention, animal control and parking enforcement.
The support services section provides for police records, clerical and reception duties. WHITCOM provides law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical (ambulance) dispatch services throughout Whitman County and to partnering agencies outside the county via an enhanced-911 system. The WHITCOM dispatch center is not housed within the police department.
