OverDrive - Downloadable eBooks and eAudiobooks are available FREE through your library. We are able to offer these downloadables thanks to an agreement through the Washington State Library.

Contact the Information Desk at 509-334-3595 for assistance.

Haven't chosen a device yet?  Access OverDrive's Device Resource Center for a list of eBook-compatible and eAudiobook-compatible devices.

Ready to get started?  For help getting started with the Amazon Kindle, Barnes and Noble NookKobo or other eReaders, access OverDrive's Help pages.

For help getting started with the iPad, iPhone, iPod, iPod Touch, or MP3 players, access OverDrive's Help pages.

For help getting started with the Android, or Windows-powered phone, access OverDrive's Help pages.

For instructional videos on how to browse, checkout, download, place holds, install software, and transfer to devices, see OverDrive's Digital Books Tour.

All done?  Thank you for remembering that eBooks can be retuned early.  This allows others to check the book out sooner! In addition, returning items early frees up your account to check out more titles!

For the Amazon Kindle or devices running the Kindle app, items may be returned early through Amazon's "Manage Your Kindle" page.

For the Barnes and Noble Nook, items may be returned early through Adobe Digital Editions on your computer.

For the iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, or devices running the OverDrive app (including the Android, Blackberry, and Windows phones), items may be returned early through the OverDrive app.

At this time, we are not aware of early return for the Sony Reader, iPod, or MP3 players.

Not sure where or how to return items?  Don't worry: items will expire from your account automatically and then allow you to download more.  You'll never have an overdue eBook.
