Bizarre Behavior Leads to Drug Seizure

PULLMAN - On June 30, 2012 at about 7:15 am, Pullman Police responded to the 300 block of Maple Street for the report of a man in an apartment screaming like a "mad man" and running around.  Officers arrived and heard the man inside his apartment yelling, items crashing, and it sounded like a man possibly needed help.  Officers entered and restrained a 22 year old man and determined he was alone.  He appeared to be under the influence of an unknown drug, was not making sense, and had numerous apparently self-inflicted non-threatening injuries.  The man was transported to the hospital.

Pullman Officers later returned to the apartment with a search warrant and seized over two pounds of Ecstasy, three ounces of marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, and small amounts of various other drugs.  Over $7000.00 in cash was also seized as it was found co-mingled with drugs.  The drugs will be sent to the crime lab for further testing.  Charges pending based on the lab results.
