Business Registration

While the City of Pullman does not currently require a seperate business license to operate within city limits, the City Council did establish a business registration program in 2010.  The purpose of this program is to collect and maintain accurate emergency contact information for all physical business premises within city limits, so that emergency responders can contact quickly contact the correct people responsible for a business should the need arise (i.e. fire, flood, unsecured premises, burglary). 

The City of Pullman Business Registration program is a two step process:

  1. Register your business with the State of Washington Department of Licensing, Business Licensing Service. 
    • Click HERE to file a business license application. Make sure to indicate that you are licensing for a location within the City of Pullman.
    • A $15.00 fee will be added to your state licensing renewal fee to help cover the costs of data entry and administration of the local public safety database administration.

  2. Complete the City of Pullman Business Registration Form.  Please make sure that you provide complete information; incomplete forms or forms using nicknames will only create confusion in our local public safety database.
