Neill Public Library

Your health and safety is our top priority.

  • We are closely following the recommendations of local and state public health experts in collaboration with the City of Pullman and have implemented new protocols to help you enjoy library service with confidence.
  • Employees are pre-screened for signs/symptoms of COVID-19 prior to starting work.
  • Employees follow all social distancing, hygiene, sanitation and safety requirements which include the requirement to wear masks, follow proper glove use, and wash hands frequently for at least 20 seconds.
  • The facility is cleaned and sanitized with a particular emphasis on commonly touched surfaces.
  • Returned library items are quarantined for a minimum of 96 hours before processing.
  • Prepared items are placed inside sealed bags for curbside delivery.
  • Curbside delivery is a contactless service.
  • We encourage patrons to wear facial coverings when using the library and picking up their curbside items.

The library building will remain closed to the public for now. Thank you for your understanding.

Curbside pickup now available!
Curbside pickup for holds is available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:00pm - 6:00pm. Here's how it works:

  • Place holds on items in our online catalog.
  • Watch for notification via email when your items are ready to pick up.
  • Park in one of the marked stalls by the north entrance near the outdoor patio.
  • Call us at 509-334-3595 and we will bring your items to your vehicle.
  • Please open your trunk, tailgate or bicycle bag in advance so we can deposit your items without making contact.
  • Don't have a cell phone, or you're on foot? Give us a call from home and we will schedule a time to meet you in the patio with your items.

Important notes:
Please continue to return your materials in the book drops located at the North and South entrances of the library. Staff delivering materials curbside will not be accepting returns.

If your vehicle does not have a way for staff to safely place the materials inside while maintaining a 6-foot distance, then staff will place your bagged library materials on the curb next to your vehicle for you to retrieve or have you retrieve them directly from the wagon.

Both book drops are open and we are happily accepting all materials returns!

Need help placing holds online or finding your next read, listen, or watch?

To place holds in our online catalog, you'll need your 14 digit library card number and PIN. Your PIN is usually the last four digits of the phone number you provided when you signed up for your library card.

If you don't have those handy, or you need help placing holds or finding that next great library item, give us a call - 509-334-3595!  We're happy to help.

As a reminder, NPL offers a variety of online resources that you can access from your desktop, tablet or mobile device, including e-books and e-audiobooks, research databases and streaming movies.
