LWV Brown Bag Lunch: Mindfulness Presentation

The Pullman League of Women Voters and Neill Public Library are pleased to announce that Professor Lydia Gerber from WSU will give a presentation at Neill Public Library and her topic will be “mindfulness.” Mindfulness training enhances the ability to cope with anxiety and stress and has a beneficial effect on overall health. During the LWV Brown Bag, Dr. Gerber will offer a brief mindfulness practice and discuss a new Mindfulness Certificate offered through the WSU Honors College.

Dr. Gerber is Clinical Associate Professor and Director of the Mindfulness-Based Emotional and Social Intelligence Certificate in the WSU Honors College.

This event takes place Tuesday, January 21 from noon – 1pm in the Neill Public Library Hecht Room.

The event is free to the public and requires no registration, but please note seating is limited.
