PULLMAN – On May 10, 2023 at 0955 hours, Pullman Police Officers were dispatched to 510 NE Greyhound Way at Pullman High School, after receiving a report that someone was threatening to go into PHS and kill everyone with a rifle.  The caller could be heard firing what sounded like gunshots and hung up.

Upon arrival, Pullman Police Officers initiated an active threat response.  Officers searched the school and determined there were no threats to students or staff.  PHS has returned to normal operations.

Pullman Police are investigating the call and its relationship to calls that were made to other schools in the area about the same time.   The caller could face felony charges.

Anyone with information about the identity of the caller is asked to call the Pullman Police Department.
