Imagine a Day Without Water - October 21, 2021No water to wash your hands or to drink. No water to shower, flush the toilet, or do laundry. Hospitals would close without water. Many Americans take water for granted every day. But what would a day be like without water? October 21, 2021 is the seventh annual day to raise awareness and educate America about the value of water, as we Imagine a Day Without Water.

Imagine a Day Without Water is a national education campaign that brings together diverse stakeholders to highlight how water is essential, invaluable, and in need of investment. This year, the City of Pullman continues to keep water and water conservation a part of our everyday focus. The City, with work supported by many Divisions and Departments, strives for ongoing responsible water use. The City provides opportunities for residents to engage in, and be rewarded for, responsible water use.

Join the City of Pullman and the Palouse Basin Water Summit Committee this evening (October 21) at 6 pm to learn about the ongoing work to ensure that the supplies and systems that deliver water, our most valuable resource, are available for generations to come. Those that are interested in registering for the 18th Annual "Virtual" Palouse Basin Water Summit can visit today.
