Snow Removal Scheduled The objective of the City's Snow and Ice control program is always to provide adequate traction for vehicles properly equipped for winter driving conditions. Snow removal is not a standard part of our winter activities, though during extreme circumstances that is exactly what happens! Those circumstances are now, and we are engaging in snow removal from specific areas of Pullman. Snow removal began in the downtown business district during the early morning hours today, February 17. City crews, with the assistance of a local contractor hauling snow, will continue snow removal efforts beginning at 3 am tomorrow, February 18. Snow removal will continue by completing activity in the downtown business district, followed by clean-up around local elementary schools. Areas around Sunnyside, Jefferson, and Franklin elementary schools are all identified as areas where snow removal is necessary under the current extreme circumstances.
Please help us perform these activities as effectively as possible, by identifying and utilizing off-street parking during the overnight hours tonight, February 17 into tomorrow morning, February 18.
