Winter Weather Briefing January 16, 2020

City of Pullman Winter UpdateThis evening pavement temperature may drop quickly after sunset resulting in black ice conditions with a small accumulation of snow expected later in the evening. Maintenance and Operations (M&O) Division staff is preparing the roadways with liquid anti-icing agent to decrease the chance of black ice formation. Later in the evening, and continuing into the morning hours, crew members will be removing accumulated snow adjacent to elementary schools and in parking areas downtown. The forecast for the weekend calls for light snow on Saturday with and a dry spell to follow. All of the City's snow-fighting equipment is in service and ready to go! M&O staff will continue to monitor the forecast and update operational strategies as necessary.
