PULLMAN, WA—City maintenance crews have repaired the water main at the intersection of Grand and Center and restored water service to Pullman homes and businesses as of Sunday morning.
In an abundance of precaution, those residing within the yellow boundary on the map included below—whether or not they experienced low water pressure or discolored water beginning Saturday afternoon— should boil water through at least Tuesday, September 20. Please note that the area of effect is an approximation. Those who experienced or continue to experience water issues outside of the boundary may boil water for added safety.
City crews have also re-opened the stretch of Grand Avenue to all traffic in the proximity of the incident. Motorists should continue to proceed with caution through the area as rough roads resulted from Saturday night’s emergency repair. The City will assess options for repaving Grand and release details when more is known.
