Excessive Heat Expected in Pullman

PULLMAN, WA—With multiple days of temperatures in the upper 90s and low 100s expected in the region, the City of Pullman reminds the community that Neill Public Library is accessible for heat relief during the hottest part of the day.

Monday – Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Residents may use the air-conditioned space—which includes public restrooms, a drinking fountain with a bottle fill station, and Wi-Fi—during the library’s regular open hours. Per policy, only service animals may be admitted at this time.

For those in need of transportation, please check current transit routes at www.pullmantransit.com.

If the situation evolves and successive days with temperatures above 100 degrees are expected in Pullman, additional information regarding cooling center activation will be provided.
