Pullman Aquatic & Fitness Center is offering both Group and Private Swim Lessons. There are multiple classes available for all skill levels. Swim screenings to access each participants skill level will be required for swimmers who have not taken lessons at PAFC before. To schedule a swim screening, call PAFC at 509-338-3290.

If you are interested in Private Swim Lessons, the first step is to fill out an A La Carte Swim Lesson request form, and return it to the aquatic center to schedule lessons with an instructor. Please note, that private lessons are very popular and there is a waitlist for instructors. For more information or help scheduling call 509-338-3290.

Important Swim Lesson Information:
The purpose of American Red Cross Swimming is to teach people how to be safe in, on, or around water and to teach individuals of different ages and abilities how to swim in an logical progression. The program covers the knowledge and skills needed for aquatic skill development. As participants develop these skills, they become safer and better swimmers.
*In the United States, drowning ranks second (behind motor vehicle accidents) as a cause of death from unintentional injury in children ages 1 to 14 yrs, with children between the ages of 1 and 4 yrs having the highest drowning rate.

Swim Screenings: Swim screenings are required for participants who want to enroll above Level 1 and are not currently enrolled in our program. Call 509-338-3290 to make an appointment.

Makeup/Waitlists: Makeup classes are only scheduled when pool space is available to do so. All waitlist accommodations and session changes are made beginning at 3:00pm on Thursday for weekday classes and after 3:00pm on Wednesday for Saturday classes, before the session begins. Sessions are prorated beginning the 3rd class of a session. Late enrollment will be accepted up to midpoint of a session. Makeups are only scheduled when pool space is available to do so.

Recreational Swim: The swim session registration fee does not cover recreational swim before and/or after class. All persons participating in recreation swim must pay the daily admission fee or use their membership card before entering the pools.

Refunds: It should be noted that refunds will not be offered for swim lessons that are cancelled due to inclement weather. The lessons will be rescheduled to the very best of our ability, but as we cannot control the weather no refunds will be given. If the lesson is cancelled due to lack of enrollment, then patron's will receive a refund either in the original form of payment or as an account credit.
