Pullman Parks & Recreation has a variety of volunteer opportunities available. Find more information on how to volunteer and connect with us below. 

Volunteer opportunities are listed and can be applied for on the City of Pullman's Career Portal. Volunteers working one-on-one with patrons are required to fill out and return a government background form, which can be found here.

AQUATIC CENTER VOLUNTEERS
Youth swim lessons

Pullman Aquatic & Fitness Center often has a need for volunteers to help clean up around both the outside and inside of the facility. Anyone willing to volunteer must be 16 years old or older and physically able to complete required tasks. Volunteer hours are within regular operating hours of the facility.
INDIVIDUAL & GROUP VOLUNTEERS

If your group, club, or circle of friends wants to get together and do a community service project Parks, Facilities & Recreation often has opportunities for community contributions. Please use our volunteer application to tell us what project you would be interested in and we will make it happen.

PRESCHOOL VOLUNTEERS
Preschool

Our preschool classroom is always bustling with activity and there are several opportunities throughout the school year for volunteers to come into the classroom. Volunteers help with arts and crafts, reading, playing games, snack helpers, and special projects.
SENIOR CENTER VOLUNTEERS
Seniors stuffing eggs for egg hunt
Our Senior Center offers limitless opportunities to help at the center and socialize with seniors. We need volunteers to run Bunco games, play cards, help with weekly meals, special events or seminars, and much more.
SPECIAL EVENT VOLUNTEERS
Summer Camp at the park

Individual and group volunteers are needed to help with special events such as the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Concerts in the Park, Movies in the Park, Lentil Fest Fun Run, sports tournaments, and more.
YOUTH SPORTS COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS
Tiny Tykes T Ball

We have a variety of volunteer coaching opportunities throughout the year for our Youth Sports Programs. Coaches are needed for the following sports and corresponding seasons.
