Project Downtown Pullman Bid Awarded

PULLMAN, WA— The City of Pullman held a Special City Council Meeting at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6th. The City Council voted to award the contract to Apollo, Inc.

Construction of Project Downtown Pullman will begin in April 2024 and conclude in the fall. The reconstruction of Main Street from Spring Street to Grand Avenue will include replacement of all sub-surface utilities and result in wider sidewalks, refreshed streetscape elements, and make downtown Pullman accessible to all.

Vehicular traffic will be diverted from Main Street to Paradise Street during construction and Bishop Boulevard will be used as a temporary truck route. Pedestrians will have access to downtown businesses during construction, and customers are encouraged to support impacted businesses.
