Zoning Code Overhaul

Title 17: Zoning Code for the City of Pullman is getting fully updated (this was last done in 2003). 

Major revisions include: 
  • Plain language to be more understandable;
  • Updated and new images;
  • Moving Floodplain to Title 16: Environment;
  • Moving Historic Preservation to Title 17: Zoning; and 
  • New code sections for short term rentals and accessory dwelling units. 
Eight open houses have been scheduled in March (see below) to gather input from the Pullman community about the propose changes to Title 17. Community members are welcome to come to any of the open houses to discuss the proposed changes, give input on additional changes, or to ask questions.
